Hello Jason, another top video. Would you please show us how the visual filters work? The interface is super different in the tutorials and course that I m doing. I can’t figure out how to open the propositional outline and turn on corresponding notes and annotations for different translations. I hope this is not too much 😅 Have a great day brother.

I'm a lay leader in my Baptist church (ordained Deacon and Sunday School Teacher). I'm a previous Logos 10 Gold owner and a current Logos Max subsciber. I use the desktop version for my lesson planning and general research / study. I also use the mobile version (iPad, Android phone, Android Tablet) very regularly. I use the web version only when it's needed (ie: Atlas and Media features). Is there a way to sync layouts between the desktop, IOS and Android versions? I've not found that so far. I do use layouts, but I've had to manually recreate them in the different versions. I also like the "set as reference" feature in the desktop version. I've not found that in the mobile versions (IOS or Android). Great channel! Keep up the great work, Jason! - Blessings!

Thanks so much for your kind words! I’m really glad you’re enjoying the channel and the interviews-it means a lot to hear that, and I’ll keep them going as long as I can. About syncing layouts: I totally get where you’re coming from, and it would be awesome if the layouts carried over between desktop, iOS, and Android. The thing is, the interfaces are just too different right now to make that work, so syncing layouts across devices isn’t something we can do yet-and honestly, it’s probably going to be a while before that’s a possibility. Thanks again for your support, Ron. Blessings to you and your ministry!

At ~9:00 into the interview, Kirk is looking for a good example for showing the rich material in the NET bible but is unable to find a good example on the fly. One way I've found to surface that information is to have the Power Lookup pane open while browsing the NET (or any Bible or resource). The Power Lookup window automatically shows the references that are contained in the active pane.
@logosbibletrainingАй бұрын
We later realized that we were trying to demonstrate the point from the ESV Bible, and not the NET Bible. But the Power Lookup is an incredible feature and a great suggestion for this very use case. We discussed it in another interview recently (You can jump into that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGaXg6CPoNlpn9ksi=YqAi0YNdprGkYi6v&t=2033). I'm glad you said something! Thank you.

Thank you so much for your reply and offer for further assistance. I noticed that the notes can seem a little mixed up. Is there a handy way to easily date, categorise and organise them? Also, any general tips (whatever was not covered in the vide) and focal points for now will be great. I am currently teaching myself exegesis and I have started with mastering inductive study (logos course). I think I got lost on the exegetical side by getting way ahead of myself (running before walking)😅 Overall, I have this massive obsession of learning how to rightly divide scripture. Any pathing that pops to mind will be invaluable, even if it seems insignificant to you (you are more experienced). Thank you so much sir, this means a lot.

Oh man! I was looking through translations and didn’t get to that one. Thank you for pointing that out! 🤯
@Chu_on_ThisАй бұрын
Interesting, never heard of that translation before. It seems to be a heavily revised version of the Robert Young Literal Translation, so my guess leans heavily on the MT and TR, similar to the KJV/NKJV translations. Funny thing I did not get to mention during the interview with Jason, both the Aramaic and LXX translations of that verse in Jonah recognize the lelohim word and correspondingly emphasis that Nineveh was a great city BEFORE the Lord, which is an understandable rendering of the 'l' preposition from the MT.
