Maggie you saved my friends life recently. Literally. She was actually actively dying of liver failure. I referred them to you only a few months ago, and now she is active and living her life again. A true miracle!!! Thank you! ❤

my sister has it, she has breathing issues because her vocal chords are very swollen and her ears and nose are affected as well as joints and chest. She also has type 2 diabetes so, the prednisone she is on causes her sugar to be high. She eats like a bird to try to keep her blood sugar from going too high and I worry about her nutrition. This came on out of the blue, but she was in DKA a year and a half ago and was in a coma. Also, DKA about 10 mo ago, but caught early enough to only spend 2 nights in the hospital. This was Jardiance that caused the DKA twice, the doctor confirmed. She is a teacher, has about 2 1/2 more years to retire. She is struggling so much, can't hear well from the swelling in her ears, vocals are so hoarse she has to use a microphone for her students to hear her and she has had to scale back so much of her life because she is literally crying all of the time being so overwhelmed.
@DrMaggieYu15 сағат бұрын
sounds like she’s going through an incredibly tough time with her health, especially with the combination of the vocal cord swelling, hearing issues, and the impact of her diabetes. It must be really difficult for her, especially with the added stress of trying to manage everything while still working. Speak to us live via text at (503) 647-4568

I had it but I also had a Dr Quacky Dr Elijou in century city. He was suppose to be a top specialist C Diff. 🤣🤣🤣 I waited months for a diagnosis from him. He ordered every test except for a fecal test. I called him one day and told him about the pain and that I needed to see him. He told me if I was in that bad shape to go to the emergency room. I asked him what the hell I needed him for two months. I gotta go to an emergency room to get diagnosed. Thank God I did. Because Encino hospital treated me for dehydration and took a fecal test right away. Two days later, they called to let me know I had Cdiff. They had already called in the prescription, I took the antibiotics they ordered and I never had a problem.

I was diagnosed with lupus in my 30s and began my own research. I removed gluten from my diet, which helped tremendously with some of my symptoms, but other symptoms started surfacing. I was finally sent to an allergist and had quite a few food allergens. I took everything out of my diet and am no longer considered having lupus. The thing that bothers me the most is that I went 30+ years before this was figured out. I had horrible rashes as a child and was pretty sickly too with chronic pain. When I went to the dr in my earlier 20s I was immediately put on antidepressants. I was most likely malnourished at that time, but I was dismissed.
@DrMaggieYu21 күн бұрын
It’s common for autoimmune conditions like lupus to overlap with other conditions, and symptoms often get misdiagnosed or misunderstood-especially when they appear alongside chronic pain and other autoimmune markers. Speak to us live via text at (503) 647-4568
