It was brought to my attention as possible a efficient way to move multiple skus from one primary location to another primary location all at ONCE by changing the picking setup to be the same. In this case is using License Plates (LP) sitting in a aisle location where we can pick from. I hope this makes sense. In other words, I want to know if is better to pick all warehouse items from a primary location with the exception of Skus sitting in the DOCK.

Notice in this video that you can just license the features of BOM and Production Order Maintenance, sometimes called Lite Manufacturing. The BOM can be several levels consisting of sub assemblies for which you buy all materials. This is useful when your company for instance installs entertainment centers, computers, computer networks, on premise VOIP, or when your company constructs a home, a shed, a driveway , a roof, plumbing. etc. With just the BOM and the Production Order Maintenance features, you can track the operations/routing steps, and see how much material and labor was used at each operation/step. To make it very easy for you, you can create sales orders from your sales quotes, that have lines for such finished goods, and create from those sales orders production/work orders. From a production order, you can create a list of all the materials that are out of stock, and need to be purchased. Such purchase orders can be created automatically. So three steps in total: Sales Order, Production Order and Purchase Orders. That is efficiency! If you want to plan your production orders and purchase orders over time, then you need to license the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) feature.

The Acumatica Field Service Edition really addresses the needs specific to a HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting,..contractor. This presentation shows exactly how those specific needs are handled. Very good job. Impressed.

Entering a service order, scheduling the fulfillment, and enabling the crew to see the order on their mobile application is great. Enabling the service person to add a stock item, comment on the completion of the service order, and have the customer sign it in the mobile application, is fantastic. Very well presented.
