I'm so glad you got to see them live, I haven't yet and I cannot WAIT. Your enthusiasm is so very cool. I have to second the recommendation below for ANY of their "animated story videos", they give a lot of historical context that makes the music even more amazing. Sabaton actually also has a History channel where they go a bit more in-depth on the history behind the songs. Cheers from the middle of Canada!

I love Sabaton because their music is genuine and truthful about historical happenings. Their videos are all about things that really happened. They are all excellent musicians too. ❤

Great reaction!🤘 Welcome to the family!😎 I'm glad that you've had the chance to see them live. Their live shows are insanely good and their music videos are, as you might noticed, on another level! You have a huge rabbit hole here 😄. I'd suggest the official music videos for "Seven pillars of wisdom", "Christmas Truce", "1916" (Motörhead cover), "Steel commanders", "The unkillable soldier", "The Royal Guard" and "To Hell and back". Also check out their animated story videos for "Lady of the Dark", "No bullets fly", "Night Witches", "The Red Baron". Be sure to watch until the end. There is always more after the song. Sabaton also has a history channel, Sabaton History, on KZbin, where they tell the story behind all of their songs. I've seen them live 3 times. In December it will be my 4th and 5th times on the Sabaton Cruise. (Stockholm/Sweden -Tallinn/Estonia). They always bring a few awesome guest bands as well.🤘

To get the history of the Sabaton songs. Check the bottom of the info on their music videos for a quick overview. Check out their home page for a longer and more informative description of the history. And finally you can watch the Sabaton History Channel on YT, where they have a historian (Indy Nidell) telling the story behind every song.

Bismark was a stand-alone single for the game "world of warships" about the WW2 Nazi warship "Bismark" and was made by "WARGAMING" There is another "Steel Commanders" which was made for the game "world of tanks" there is even a Sabaton tank in the game. Fun fact: Sabaton have 2 "tanks" which are the drum risers - one is named Audie after "Audie Murphy (To Hell and Back) and the another is Walter. (The unkillable soldier)

bismark wasca huge battleship that the allied sank just days into on its first voyage, so it never became the menace ig was meant to be. kind if an big fail for the Nazi germans. a big reason for the fleet getting to it was that a torpedo from a Swordfish biplane hit the partition for the rudder machinery, the pilot swearing was actually mentioned in official reports, he was dissatisfied as the hit made no apparent damage, in actuality it locked rudder mid evasive maneuver so badly that the ship was only able to make huge circles...

great reaction, more Sabaton please. Sabaton is a Swedish band with a loooong list of history based music. Sabaton also has an award winning history channel that gives background to over 120 if their songs (not music award, academic, aimed at education of the public) . Sabaton videos are often have dedications and/or messages at the end, perhaps not always but... watching to the very end is frequently well worth it. Animated STORY videos (short Animated history lessons with music videos in them) No bullets fly, enemy showing mercy to injured aircrew in a nearly wrecked aircraft barely still flying, even escorting them to safety. Night witches, Young (17-28) female bomber pilots in ww2 fighting the Nazi despite the discrimination they faced and being given obsolete equipment, aircraft ... Lady of the dark, female fighting alongside men during ww1 and being highly respected and even more decorated. Red baron, the famous fighter pilot of ww1 first soldier, unlikely French hero in ww1. Epic ORIGINAL videos. you just saw Bismark, about the sinking of the ship Christmas truce, about the spontaneous truce in some parts of the western front during Christmas 1914 40:1, about polish soldiers, badly outnumbered (just under 750 in all) facing 42 000 germans, they where BADLY outgunned desperately defending against the German invasion 1939 (with odds actually close to 55:1 they held for 3 DAYS when ammunition and supplies ran out. Uprising, the Warsaw Uprising against the nazi germans during 1944. To hell and back, they tell the story of Audie Murphy (highly decorated) and his struggle AFTER the war, so about PTSD and drug addiction that returning soldiers can face. Fields of verdun, the 300+ day long battle fought there. Price of a mile, about the battle of Passchendaele Screaming Eagles, about the battle of the bulge Live performances 40:1 from poland Uprising from poland En livstid I krig live from Göteborg Sweden (in Swedish but there are subtitles) , very heavy again, about thoughts of a young man going to war. Two covers that are good Defence of Moscow, self explained 1916 about the devastating battle of the somme in ww1, casualties topped 1 milion if you count both sides, all for 6 miles of ground, these are just some, there are plenty more.

So dope Brantley brought these guys on tour with him, as well as Calhoun. In an industry full of puppets and grown men begging for approval, you love to see a guy say 'screw this, I paid my dues and now I'm paying it forward and going to bat for MY guys'. Respect to Gilbert, Demun, Strugg and ACal. Great song to boot. P.S. Demun Jones is an ordained minister and he officiated Adam Calhouns wedding, of which Jelly Roll and Struggle Jennings also attended.

@@BillyGeneReacts Ha my sister met him about 10 years ago through a radio station meet n greet thing. Said he was super nice but you can look at the dude and tell he has a past. He was definitely a hellraiser back in the day, and I don't want to say this for sure because I've never heard it presented as fact, but I'm pretty sure he was in a biker gang. And even if not, he was heavily into that culture and definitely ran with that crowd. One of Jason Aldeans biggest songs was Dirt Road Anthem, which he raps (or more like narrates) on it. It was a novelty at the time but not many people knew it was a remake of Colt Ford's song (an actual rapper) by the same name that had a young Brantley Gilbert singing the hook. Crazy story because Colt Ford had a really bad heart attack earlier this year after a show in Phoenix. He actually died briefly, but fortunately he was on tour with Mr Gilbert who found him unconscious near his bus and saved his life. He's still recovering but word is he's doing better. Colt is a good dude who actually got fed up with Nashville and created his own label, Average Joe's. Montgomery Gentry was signed to them when Troy Gentry died in a helicopter crash. He also has Bubba Sparxx on his label but in the past he's signed Nappy Roots, Rehab, The Lacs, Kevin Fowler, Demun Jones and Brantley Gilbert. The labels been around since 2008
