Hi sir. thank you for post these videos. My question is: I (Indian) am on H1B visa (I140 in process and should be filed in the next 18 months) and wife (Taiwanese) is on F1. She did not get H1B lottery in her last attempt. I want to know if she should move to my H4 dependent visa or take Day1CPT. She did MS in Data Analytics and could enroll in Day1 CPT for another Data science program or MBA. I dont know what the risks are with Day1CPT, and its impact on future green card process. She does want to continue working, if possible.

Hello Sir, thanks for your informational website and videos. My question is that are there any legal restrictions to being self-employed while on CPT. The ICE language seems to be clear with regards to its permissibility while on OPT. Can I start my own private practice related to my field of study and work for the practice by registering it on CPT? Are there any evidences for either a Yes or No. I am unable to find an answer in either direction.

Can the department in my school decline my CPT for a job during the semester simply because they have to discuss the pros and cons with faculty and decide whether or not they will allow CPT during semesters? They are fine with summer CPT but not during the academic year. Can I do anything about it?

Being a current holder of a Nafta TN Visa that arrived USA before December 31, 2011. am I eligible to adjust/change my status under the Comprehensive Immigration Reform 2013?
