What temp and how long do you dry the exposed image? Could this be used for screen printing inks (200 mesh)?
@AbrasiveImaging2 жыл бұрын
Hi Lizzy d. The drying temperature should not exceed 50-60°C. Food Dryers for example are excellent to use for this material. The material / masks can not be used for Screenprinting because of its clear 15µ membrane. This would block the inks.

Que diferencia existe entre la sr3000 y el rapid mask?
@AbrasiveImaging3 жыл бұрын

I bend a corner before I put the mask on the rock so I have a little tab to remove the plastic. Lately, I have been using a bit of masking tape to grab the edge of the plastic film, so far that is working great.
@campbellbluestone18373 жыл бұрын
Whats the point of using a vacuum with a hepa filter when you pour the aluminium oxide out of your plastic cannister when you finish blasting? As you know that stuff is very fine, and by doing what you did you have released it into the air and probably inhaled a lung full which has serious health issues....or were you wearing a mask? Either way still pretty irresponisble to let that stuff fly about the air without taking proper precaution
@AbrasiveImaging3 жыл бұрын
First of all - Yes, you are right. You should use additionally a mask to prevent inhaling quartz dust. The abrasive itself is aluminum oxide 150 mesh which is not harmful - but it is not made for inhaling it too. The reason of this plastic box / 5l Canister is to prevent messing up your working area. It catches a lot of dust, but not 100% - maybe 70-80%. A lot of people are using a sandblasting gun without a cabinet and have the problem of messing up their premises, backyards or theirselfs with dust and abrasive. This little plastic canister and a vacuum cleaner is a nice tool to keep your working areas much "cleaner". This plastic Canister is not part of the pen-blaster, just an additional tool we are using.
