Yes, there are now a number of different folding electric wheelchairs available, including Carbon-fibre models that are proving very popular, as they are super lightweight and easier to handle

Hi Caroline, yes absolutely. The chair can be "parked" either at the top or the bottom of the stairs. The remote can be wallmounted in a small bracket, so it's easy to call the chair down or send back up as required. The ability to lift different scooters heavily depends on the make, model, year of the vehicle your are driving, as it's governed by bootspace. We have successfully installed the hoists into Kia Carnivals for lifting medium scooters such as the Kymco Agility
