The best way to pair is to hold the button for about 15-20 seconds till it’s flashing orange , release the home link button and then! Press and hold your garage remote opener and hold your garage remote until home link starts flashing green!!! That’s how it worked and my garage unit is a 2015 chamberlain model and it worked flawlessly.

Once this is done, proceed to delete the old admin profile. After that, delete the app from your device and reinstall it. Finally, go through the pairing process again. When unscrewing the fastener too much, it comes out of its thread and is frustratingly hard to get it to rethread connect it and after an hour of trying have given up. Is there a tool I have to purchase or a trick to get the fastener to connect since its receiver is unfixed and obviously moves around making it next near to impossible to simply reconnect the fastener

The volvo sport key that models from a few years ago did the same functions and was HALF the size of a pack of gum, and still fit INSIDE MY WALLET. Why does it have to be bigger now despite not having adding physical buttons ?
