I bealive that haytham allowed conner to kill him here is my logic: conner killed haytham with his hidden blade after letting go of conner arm which allowed conner to kill haytham,, but haytham has his own pair of hidden blades and he also knew how they worked combined with the fact when he was chocking conner he could have used but no he allowed conner to use his hidden blade on him and haytham is not stupid he know how hidden blades work as mentioned above why so when he chose to let go of conner arm and start chocking he knew what was going to happen but he could not kill his son even though there relationship was at it's lowest at that point.

It's crazy to think that if Connor wasn't blinded by anger, Haytham had a chance to expose the truth to him when he heard about Connor's mother dying. Had they even slightly more time and not worse circumstances, they could've made the best peace between Templars and Assassin's.

The one thing I hate is when people see this scene and think Connor is out of line. He just learned that someone he thought of as a friend is attacking his people, said friend is responsible for his mother's death(And not the man he's been chasing), and that his father hid the truth from him until now. Haytham could've gotten Connor on his side if he exposed Washington alot earlier. And I know people like to say Connor wouldn't believe him...and you're right. Connor wouldn't believe it at first, BUT if it was discovered later Washington was responsible for Ziio's death then he would've gone back to his father to apologize. Not to mention Haytham is the Grandmaster of the Templar Order in the colonies. You're telling me he can't send out spies or bribe officials to get proof? It just seems like Haytham was waiting for the opportune moment to reveal what Washington did. Not because he cared about Connor and his people, but because he saw Connor was still loyal to Washington and he wanted to break that. I've also seen people ask why didn't Connor go after Washington after this and stop chasing Lee. The truth is, Connor knows the Americans still need Washington. If he was to die then it's possible the revolution would've fallen apart and everything the colonists fought for would be for naught. He also still believed the Colonists were the only true way to save his people so he chose to not intervene and attack Washington. As for Lee, well, c'mon. Yes, he's innocent when it comes to Ziio's death, but I'm pretty sure he must have done something terrible in service to the Templar Order. I wouldn't say he's innocent completely.

I played call of juarez: bound in blood than came back to this one. The beginning shocked the shi out of me. Couldn't believe my eyes. This game and its prequel are some of the best game that i've played and enjoyed, especially the gameplay in bound in blood.
