Do you have any particular model in mind? I personally dont like Titan that much, but they are launching some really cool watches in Stellar and Edge collection. While their watches maybe good, the brand value is in doldrums

@@YachtWatchClub Thank you for the reply, I am looking out for affordable and durable mechanical watch, this would be my first purchase, There was a review about Titan mechanical automatic watch. Which was around 8.5k.

For 10k, I'll lay out a few automatic options for you, especially with the discounts going on atm - Authentic Watch Makers - Timex Marlin, Vostok Amphibia/East/Komandirskie Also look at Alba watches [Seiko designs & also a seiko company] Homage/Chinese Brands - Boderry Voyager/Landmaster, Addiesdive MY-H2 and AD-2059 [They're good, but I'd ignore their homage stuff] Gshock Casioak is always a good alternative but obviously its not Automatic. Indian brands keep dropping stuff, but since this is your 1st Automatic, you can skip these and go for better watches.

I prefer acrylic by a mile over mineral, especially for a vintage styled watch. When it gets scratched, you can buff it out. Just my opinion.

M79 Automatic is a good watch for a Day Date Automatic with transparent caseback. Though its a 40mm dial, Price is 18k Same specs with just date is Navi XL Automatic. Price is 19k

The movement is not top of the class, but not the worst too. At this price its a decent movement. They had to be selective because of the sub dial complication and maybe that's why they chose Seagull rather than an NH35 or Miyots

Ya ya totally agree, Indian microbrands are far from luxury. Those that are luxury, like Bangalore Watch or Jaipur Watch are not logical purchases purely from brand perspective. I am never going to spend 50k or even more on an Indian watch brand as of now. 10k is a sweet spot to give brands like Argos or DWC a chance.

Ye. But you did mention it to be Luxary right in the title. By the way i am recently seeing a lot of argos being promoted even though its not as half good. Are these all paid promotions?

Bro I have also mentioned 10000 rupees, in case you missed that. For someone who can only afford a Sonata, spending 10k on a watch is luxury. Also I can't say for others, but I don't take money to do biased reviews :)

Their design hasn't changed much, which ones a bummer for sure. But overall the watch is pretty good at this price. Better than brands who also make purses and shoes and bags and what not :p

You mean the brand or the watch? It's still in early stages, technically, they have had just one watch out there, which is the best iteration in their 3 attempts, so they're still far far away from being a good reliable 'Brand'. But I am happy to see an Indian watch co doing it.
