Lizzy, this reminds me of a chase you made at Jeff and Sheri's a few years back. Why call anyone else for help when you have Lizzy close by. Another great catch, Miss Lizzy!

Thanks so much for sharing! Buddy was my late father's favourite fiddler of all time! Got to stop by and have a visit with him and his wife one time as I was leaving Nashville to drive home for christmas to Canada and wanted to grab a CD for my Dad. Well did they ever hook me up with a couple CDs and photos and Buddy even signed a Christmas card for my Dad ! 🥰 I'll never forget the look on his face when he realized what he was looking at! haha. That was the last christmas I ever got with my Dad and I think I nailed it with the best Christmas gift I ever could have given him thanks to Buddy. So nice to see you two playing and hear yall makin music together.Sounds so beautiful! I couldn't write a song for over a year and a half after Dad passed, and when I finally did it came out in about a half an hour and the 2nd verse was "My old man could set a fiddle on fire, he loved Bob Wills and Buddy Spicher, and he could cut a reel or jig, in with his Texas swing! Summertime stages and small town bars, motorbike runs and vintage cars, yah he'd be sawin' that fiddle so fast I knew he would fly away. And your prairie daughter still knows, a fiddle will always bring me home" 🥰 🎻 I also remember Buddy said to me as I was leaving "I hope I get to meet your Daddy one day". Well I had never called my Dad "Daddy" in my whole life but I sure loved the way that sounded with Buddy's American accent talkin bout my Daddy who just loved him and who had been such an inspiration to my dad. So I also started off the song with "My Daddy flew a hot air balloon" thinkin of Buddy ;-) <3 kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2OtloZ6lrGod7ssi=LxGn-3mOaGpUX_d5&t=986

I am drawn to this piece. The Masters. Again, and again. I am here because it calls me. Just to listen to what it tells me or makes me feel each time.

Everything here is good. Not everything is in the same stage. Makes a person think a little. Time to relax and enjoy while the mind takes everything in and keeps the best, thanking God for all of it.

I love the fiddle music and the ones who play it. I also love the violin and those who play it. My Mama and her sister both played first violin. This touched me, but I am really not surprised. I listen to it time out of Time! It is just Beautiful 🎻💞
