I´ve got a 1x37 myself from the early 2000´s, and I can really vouch for the troubleshooting aspect - It came with a really extensive manual, where every single part was described in detail, what it does and how to adjust it. Also a complete spare parts list was included, which is super simple when you need something on a friday afternoon, and don´t have the time to visit your local dealer, but you can get a ball bearing or a belt from a shop in the nearest town. That´s pretty excellent in my opinion.

Man, I love the Kiwi and his "Hokie-pokie" ;D Seems like an awesome guy who´s got his business growing! I just love how funny things can sound in a Kiwi accent. Funny how he corrects his worker(s) to one worker and the 24 hour day to 12 hrs though, makes him look like kind of a slave owner ;D I bet he´s not though. But hours vary a lot in this entire line of work, all over the world. In Norway as well, we have very strict laws on working hours, but forestry always plays its own game. We do long hours in the winter, shorter in the summer. It still works, it´s fine! One thing I´d like to know more about, is how that truck bed was set up - It seemed like multiple chambers of different sizes?

Great company with a HUGE reputation in Europe. Yea, they are splitting birch and beech in these videos but that's the firewood of choice where they build these.

50 cords / 150 m³ loose can be processed during an eight-hour shift. However, it depends on the size of the wood and the logistics, but this is a completely realistic result when the logistics are well-organized.

There is now circular saw option, only saw chain. Palax has some big circular saw machines.

I like the way they flip the log and cut down. Instead of pushing through hardened steel you have to adjust.

Recomended minimum log diameter is 30 cm, maximim length is under 50 cm so between 20-50 cm.

Try that on an Expert 37! Stupid adjuster too close to bar & no access to the drive sprocket so have to jam the unit down with a block of wood & fumble about for 20 minutes - extremely badly thought out!
