Standard, with a capo somewhere up the neck. 4th or 6th fret maybe? Can't really remember, I went with this key sort of on a whim. I wanted the higher register of the original to give it that lonely vibe but I found the original key too shrill sounding on guitar at that register, so I compromised and shifted the capo down until I thought it sounded good.

These covers are unreal man. You both capture the perfect tone/identity of the entire track and still manage to elevate it. The acoustic transition during the bridge is flawless and, quite honestly, a big step above the actual studio production. You've also managed to pick nearly all of my favorite Opeth tracks to cover, so kudos on the great taste as well. Your talent is not wasted on these projects. And if you someday decide to tackle the unfettered beast that is Blackwater Park, know that many of us will rejoice!
