The G Five active speakers are the largest model in the G Series and are designed to deliver powerful, uncolored audio, making them suitable for larger spaces and higher listening levels. They provide excellent performance on their own, especially for music and general audio playback. However, if you're looking to extend the low-frequency response, or to solve potential room modes in your room, we would recommend to consider bigger subwoofer such as 7370A. F Two is mainly designed for smaller G-series speakers.

In this project we used acoustic panels made from peat fiber made by Konto. Similar can be done with other type of panels but Konto panels give nice appearance with minimal effort.

The purpose of this video was to give a fairly general overview of how room acoustics could be done. Absorption is the most efficient and easiest way to treat the acoustics of the room. Diffusers are useful (when combined with absorption) in larger rooms where the reflecting surfaces are further away from the listener. Bass traps would most likely have helped in this case to bring down the reverberation time at 100-200Hz region but are physically quite large and sometimes hard to fit in without custom building work. Bass resonators would also be good at specific problem frequencies but require custom structures and a fair amount of knowledge to implement. Our SAM series loudspeakers offer a robust solution to drastically improve the low frequency performance at the listening location through calibration of each loudspeaker and attenuating the energy of the loudspeakers at the mode frequencies.
