Yes , unfortunately archives of her singing alone is quite rare , this Navaratri we will be listening to her exclusively render a few Devi Kritis. Please look through our channel where we have curated her solo recordings from time to time.

So heartening to see the uncanny views of Smt Veena Dhanammal about the Clarinet. And as a fan of Shri Radhakrishna Naidu’s unique tonality (like Shri Vedaranyam Vedamurthi’s cool sounding Nadaswaram) I’m so happy to hear this concert. A word about the excellent violin by Shri Kovai Dakshinamurthy who has tonally and stylistically complimented the main artist in many places…

Ill never be able to understand how he handle the clarinet... it has nasty jumps which messes up fingerings ❤ just finished listeining to this in one sitting, still in awe

Radhakrishna Naidu was a great exponent of the clarinet in the Carnatic style. His sweeping gamakas and a musical taste akin to that of Jayammal with its nuances and novel phrases is an extremely rare phenomenon to listen to. He is playing on the E flat clarinet probably with the Albert key system which was widely used by Indian and middle eastern clarinetists.
