I dont have garage to plug it in. Do you think it is still economical to own one? Maybe the regen braking would make a difference. I am thinking of trading in my Outlander 22 GT (Gas) for the PHEV version.

@@hoyhoy1605 Regen braking will not fully recharge the battery. Besides, if you’re considering the PHEV to only save money on fuel, the MSRP price difference suggests that is a bad idea. The PHEV is significantly more expensive than the gas model, so you should just stick with what you have. By the time you factor in the depreciation loss of your current Outlander and the $10k + price difference, it would take you more than a decade to recoup that money if fuel savings.

The Ridgeline is the Goldilocks of pickups. Not too big, not too small but perfect for 99% of truck owners. Smooth, quiet, quick, competent, reliable. And let's be honest, nobody takes a $50k truck off road. That is left for the third owner when the truck is 10yrs old.

Putting 1600 pounds of load in the bed without taking the spare tire out first is not very smart...get a flat good luck getting that tire. And you didn't mention the emergency brake pedal that is placed where your left leg is....can dig into your leg.

Good point, but even if the spare was out, how would I install it with the load in the bed? I report on things that I find interesting or important and the emergency brake was of no concern to me. Thank you for watching.

It's hilarious to me how many people don't understand the value of a vehicle like this. Not everybody needs to tow a lot or haul a lot and not everybody wants to sacrifice comfort, price, MPG, and size.

With the average weight of a trailer at about 1,900 lbs, and a bag of quickcrete weighing in at about 90lbs per bag, we should be able to tow about 34 bags of concrete.

@@TheAutoNsider 34 X 90 lbs = 3060 lbs. But anyway, Quikrete comes in 60 lb or 80 lb bags. Also the 1.5 cu ft bags of mulch are 41 lbs each. 50 bags is over 2000 lbs. I know because I haul 50 bags in my wifes 2016 Honda Pilot. Sister vehicle of the Ridgeline. Sorry but I'm OCD about math.

Great review. Big time disappointed the NISMO version does not come in manual but so appreciative of the fact we do have this 400 HP Nissan Z in a manual. Just saw one on the freeway yesterday and it looks sweet! With this, the Supra, the GR 86/BRZ twins, the Mazda Miata, Mustang GT and even the outgoing Camaro and more available in manuals and on the market right now, it is easy to get spoiled and take all this 6 speed manual, RWD goodness for granted and this does not even cover the 6 speed manual FWD goodness we have in the Honda Civic Type R and the Acura Integra Type S. I take none of it for granted and hopefully I will be able to add a couple of these to the stable before they are gone. Keep up the great work. We all need to show car manufactures that there is a market for "affordable" enthusiast cars. Great driving dynamics should not be available only to expensive European performance car and super car owners.

Great review! I was all about the Palisade until I started researching online & saw issue after issue with Palisade owners. I LOVE the interior & even test drive the Palisade but just can’t pull the trigger on a Hyundai with the issues AND - too long of a story to share but I had a awful experience with a Hyundai rental where lucky for me I was near O’Hare so I could exchange it for a different rental. I saw the Toyota GH and now leaning towards getting that this summer - maybe waiting to see what the 2025 GH will have. Again, GREAT review.
