It's obvious but you will NEVER have an employee go with you on the job site.. run through should be like a driving test and if you fuck up too many times you should be 86ed from renting said equipment.

What's scary is HD and Lowe's will rent to any Bill Bob Blow with minimal requirements. I'm a head cashier at Lowe's and as long as you put a deposit down there's no legal laws that require a "heavy equipment license" to operate. We rent skod steers, mini excavator etc

So why is the demand for this boom lift-enabled tree-cutting solution not being met? Maybe one unspoken reason is that tree-cutters believe that if it takes them just an hour or two to radically trim a huge tree then they won't feel able to charge nearly as much as they do if they've spent two arduous days(not hours) getting the job done laboriously and with precarious ladders etc Paul G

Still have my dads bobcat he purchased new in the early 90s. The only thing that’s the same is the colors lol. Impressive how far technology has come, but that machine has paid for itself 10 times over. It’s so valuable. We have had hydraulic leaks, had motor replaced, teeth sharpened and replaced but with the new motor it should last us another 10-20 years. I couldn’t imagine not having one now that I do have one. The next must is a mini excavator.
