I got the Bullet Train a few weeks ago and I TOTALLY agree with you.i have it a 4 on the pull and was really expecting like a 6-7 at least. But it's definitely based on the fact that I had this preconceived notion about what a Begg slippie should be. Would definitely buy it again though.

They confiscated our butterflies, jumping jacks, and firecrakers. The illegal stuff is so much better but havent tried to find the good stuff anywhere near me. Good food and drinks now.😉

Agree with your review and assessment. Bought my Begg about 3 weeks ago. Excellent fit and finish and the larger model with dual stainless shields is a great look. Just like you, I thought the pull would be a bit stronger. Mine's about a 5. I was sort of expecting maybe an 8. Still a great knife and carrys well in a pocket slip

Hey JB nice review I’ll have to give this some consideration,and I’ll wait for the other one to be reviewed.Having a blade that’s a little easier to open makes it easier to open with the older fingers.

Feel you with the back burner, I've been staring at the harpoon version for a bit now, but there is always something. I do like a stronger spring myself, but I doubt it's going to be an issue anyways. Thanks for sharing and Happy 4th, JB!

Love it! I kind of like the blue on the pivot. The little chipped looking pieces on the gold v seem to bother me more than the blue pivot does. But the all blacked out version of the Lieb is one of my favorite knives of all time! Perfect fifth pocket knife. 😎👍

Nice little knife. Looks to be the same quality as RRR and RCB knives. Who knows maybe they’re all made in the same factory. Like that they went with 14c28n instead of D2. Thanks for the look.

Like the design, been looking at them for a while but haven't pulled trigger. The pull wouldn't bother me so after actually seeing it now (thanks JB), imma keep it on my wishlist.

Looks very cool JB, but for us that don’t care for slip joints because they don’t have strong enough back spring; this is definitely not on my list!! I realize it’s a sample size of one, but thanks for your opinion…. You don’t need to sugarcoat it for us. We trust and value your straightforward opinion! Not like some of the other knife guys that work directly for a company and just push everything!! 😊
