The idea of having superstars perform together is often more exciting than the reality. They didn't sing this well together. Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty worked well together but I think they rehearsed.

I was at this show, too. Bruce was fresh off BUSA Tour, and was king of the world. The place went nuts for him, and he met the moment. What a night. Also on the bill: Robin Williams, Tom Petty, Don Henley, of course Neil and CSN. Incredible.

This looks like it was in the early 90's in Australia.? I had the privilege of seeing Neil twice in one week. The second bring a charity concert with Bruce coming on in the last set. Fabulous.

Young has about ten classic songs. Same with Springsteen. Young has better melodies, and Springsteen has better lyrics. Actually, Young thinks Stephen Stills is the only musical genius, and Springsteen thinks Jackson Browne is the best songwriter in history, with Late for the Sky the best album ever. I concur. Artists are most creative at age 27, the same age at which people take the greatest risks. In any case. You're right. It's no contest. It's not a race. It's art.
