Nice video about grounding the solar panels, but I would've ran the grounding wire from the edge of the roof to the grounding rods in some conduit. Even PVC. I don't know the regulations in Minnesota, but the conduit would be for mechanical protection. Just in case someone has some idea about cutting the wire to steal it or something like that. Copper is expensive man. Or you could've used aluminium wire. It's cheaper. But the conduit is for mechanical protection and for aesthetics. I would say it looks more professional with the conduit.

@@jwsolarusaHello, please excuse me for writing in German. I have a question about the behavior of the fans: is the fan speed controlled depending on the output power or do the fans always run at full speed?
@jwsolarusaАй бұрын
@@ferdinandfieg9271 Thanks for the translation. The fans speeds are control by the power coming in from the solar and also the power coming out from the inverter. Since this is an Hybrid Inverter Charger, incorporated with Solar Charge Controller, there will be activities going on day and night nonstop. During the Inverter generating power from the Solar Panels and also powering the loads that puts the fans on a constant running mode. Despite all these troubles you are facing, you can enable the power saving mode function on the device that will enable the system go on a standby if it doesn't detect any power needs from your loads and tha will put the inverter into power (SAVING MODE) to cut down little bit on your battery bank.
