What make model of V-rake do you use in this video? I was curious after transporting down the road how do the 10 rake wheels lower into raking position? Is it manual or hydraulic?

I’m always shocked when I see someone running a 499 and they don’t have to get out of the tractor 30 times to unplug it.

I run a 488 and don’t know when the last time I got out to unplug it. Stub guards eliminates the problem.

The build info on the truck is on the edge of the drivers door, it should tell you most of what you wanna know, best 500 bucks worth I’ve ever seen

When I was learning to drive my dads road ranger gearbox he said it was no good having teeth if you don’t clean them son, I just learned to slow down on my changing and it all just clicked 👍. On the inside of the door sill or the door of the tool box on the sleeper should be a build plate to let you know the gearbox type, looks like a great clean truck.. very cool

I meant a man years ago when I started driving who got and old international cabover for 300.00 and just put tires and batteries in it and ran it daily hauling steel local.

Truck is a gift. Has he never lost bales? I used to work for a hay and straw merchant and have seen loads come off, but not from our company as we always secured our loads.

When we were off camera I actually asked him about bales coming off. He said it has never happened, but on the longer trips he does strap them down.
