Cool to hear the story behind that remix. I think he nailed it, it goes great with the other tracks on the EP but it is still clearly his.

In general, I don't have feelings of emptiness. I am fully feeling. But there is this wound that has never left. And I don't think it will ever heal.

Good record.. This song could be on one of early Beatles albums.

This is beautiful, albeit in a very sixties way with the multitracking of his voice. One of those songs you just can't listen to less than twice. "You'd Like to Admit It," the flipside of this, is totally different in style -very British Invasion sound.

I did not know that the gang that I used to see became a musical group later on. I remember that a basement apartment was used as a clubhouse by either the Ghetto Brothers or by their younger counterparts - The Majestic Brothers. As I understand it - both gangs were connected and the Majestic Brothers were the younger age group. I recall there being a leader (I think it was for the Ghetto Brothers) that they called him Blackman and he had a brother. The clubhouse I am talking about was on Morris Avenue between E. 168th and E. 169th Streets (around 1970-1972) in the Morrisania section of The Bronx, NYC. This music is interesting. Thank you for uploading it.

I just heard on an interview with Tanya Donnelly that the band still gets royalty checks for this song. It apparently did well overseas.
@theclockworkgroup2 жыл бұрын
it did. and it was in film and commercials. they will get royalties from the publishing from the label that did the soundtrack to the album, thats huge
