nice one! btw, really love kickstart2, always using it for sidechaining, as it mitigates some of the plugin latency issues ableton has since (forever i guess)

imo ample metal hellrazer sounds better out of the box for a beginner user than the odin 3, I wonder that I shouldnt have spent so much money on the odin 3 and buy ample metal hellrazer instead...

I don’t think it’s as big of a deal what they sound like individually since you can’t really hear the difference in a mixed track
@Untilitpases8 күн бұрын
So, in terms of scale (radiation pattern) and detail (distortion, transient response etc.) you'd say the Ouptus better the Yamaha? However, since they're "nice" sounding, they're more HiFi than monitor? Have you had the chance to test other coaxials? Kef, Tannoy, Kali etc?
@probablyawake8 күн бұрын
I would say they’re definitely more hi-fi than monitor. I ended up getting rid of these after I’d say six months or so the Yamaha sound a lot more accurate and true especially when compared across other monitors. I haven’t got a chance to try mini hi-fi monitors, but I have tried to kali audios and have a review on the channel for them. I still prefer Yamaha out of all of the monitors I’ve used, including the Kali audios. My next purchase will probably be the adam a8H. If I don’t care for those, I’m just gonna stick with Yamaha and not consider any other speakers.

I didn’t intentionally remove anything, Spotify has been removing small artists music and accusing them of “bot usage”. Check my community page.

Do you have same opinion about the stereo with yamaha hs7? What you think about hs7 bass?
@probablyawakeАй бұрын
Love the HS7’s! Some of my all time favorites
@bluen1Ай бұрын
@@probablyawake thanks for reply. I think I need to test hs7 more. Some people like t7v little bit more. I m not sure yet. Is hs7 deep in bass in person?
@probablyawakeАй бұрын
It’s not deep bass, no. From the 7” speakers I’ve tested you’re not gonna get a great low end representation, however, I feel like some of my best mixes have come with the 7’s because of how flat they sound. If you need more, I hear pairing it with a sub can have a great effect, or if you don’t have the room for the sub/ don’t want to have an extra piece to the puzzle, I’ve been using the HS8’s for a bit now and think the balance on them is amazing. I bought mine new, but if you look on the used marketplace I routinely see a $900 pair of speakers going for closer to $500!
@bluen1Ай бұрын
@@probablyawake I listened the adam t7v live and it blew me away. About the bass I don't need anything more. What do you think about that? I have to say that I have no experience and any advice would be great. 😀 after the adam test, I listened and the hs7 anf can't compete with the adam in bass, adam ate it so much that I wondered if the guy behind the counter had played a boost or equalizer, I tried another pair of 7 inch speakers. in the same money range, the onlywho can match adam t7v is hs8 I know that opinions and tastes are individual
@probablyawakeАй бұрын
I personally prefer Yamaha’s over Adam’s but that of course is preference. Any speaker will work just fine once you get used to them, it’s just a matter of time!

Maybe make your drums to blend in with the stabs and give stabs a vol boost. As your beats are actually more dominant in the whole drop. Love the drop ✌🏼

Try this some time. Put four saturators in series. Use different modes on each one. Don’t push anything past +2 but make sure each knob has a slightly different value. Duplicate that series of four, three times. Have fun.
