Yes there’s Locomotive Scroll and GSAP Smooth Scroller but I prefer Lenis because it’s the most performant and uses the native window. Locomotive Scroll and GSAP have more features tho, so it’s really up to preference

I've come to very similar realizations, even though i am mostly on back-end coding. Really nice video mate!

We are pretty much alike in tech stack haha except for the Shopify one I know nothing about yet, and also I use a lot of TS in my projects, can't go without it. In future when I can land my first job in front-end, I plan going fullstack with c#, for now I won't go deep in it, read something here and there, but can't let do myself do it now cause still there is too much to refine in the frontend. You gave really great pieces of advices, man.

Try replacing JS with TS, you'll wish you had done it sooner!

hi, it'd be better if U showed up what you were actually building at the beginning. Otherwise, idk if it's worth watching. and its hard to spend 20 min to find out.

What smooth scroller do you prefer to use? I just always prefer Lenis because of the small bundle size and the use of request animation frame

Really interesting, I would like to know how you would optimize it when you are loading in a random amount of images.
@RitzJS2 ай бұрын
If you’re loading a random amount of images the best way to optimize would be to lazily load every image below the fold and use the srcset on each image tag to make sure they’re all properly sized
