There was a book that was required reading for my generation about Jim Morrison called. No one here gets out alive. What he is saying about him here is true. He was a rude violent abusive pretentious alcoholic. That They tried to turn into a psychedelic guru in the 80s

I think this movie perfectly represents the life of a band in those years, tour, roadie, groupie, friends, managers, concert, music magazine

Smart or not: without drugs there is no rock n roll.

Bangs hated Zeppelin, and I don’t remember Rolling Stone being kind to Sabbath, either. Really, it was all about Lester Bangs. He talks about being “uncool”, but what he meant was that he was cooler than cool people. No-one’s as cool as a critic. And that’s where punk came from. People who sucked at music, but were cooler than the rest of the world. I don’t know who’s worse, critics or punks.

one of the most pissed off/ sad/ painful /contradictory awful pieces of reality that shat in my mouth? Was the overdose death of Phillip Seymour Hoffman .....he had us...worse? He had the outstanding exceptional talent of my generation ....even worse? He had kids ....WTUTMOST F$%#
