Even the knee is flexed with the dorsiflexion. Calf tightness is a possibility.

This is exactly what I was looking for. The single rescuer log roll #2 is what they teach you in bronze cross and I couldn’t find a tutorial anywhere for my exam

What if patient cannot get to 90°. How would you then use the base of the foot method
@dnice44412 жыл бұрын
Their ROM would be recorded from the 90deg goniometer to their limit (slightly plantarflexed). The ROM would be a negative number e.g. -10 deg of dorsiflexion If the patient cannot get to the 90deg starting point when measuring dorsiflexion, you cannot use the base of the 5th. Hope this helps.

Surprising how few people are interested in this. However, I'm a 60 y.o. gym rat. As soon as I feel any shoulder pain I have my own tens unit and ultrasound. The relief they provide is astounding, just as if my chiropractor worked on my. TY for the video. My wife sprained her back the other day. I performed tens/US, she felt 80% better the following day.

David draper is awesome. And I agree. It works if used the right way. In clinics I usually see a "preset" used... 3Mhz, 1.0W/cm2, 5min...usually done for time management, but usually not strong enough for any actual impact on the tissue. What setting do u use?

@@sporticon1467 we have a very inexpensive auvon tens unit which we only use on level 2 or 3(and it goes to ten) for 20 to 30 mins. Our U.S pro ultrasound unit only does 1 M,. With 30/50/100 %. We use 50%. We're very conservative with our self treatment and will go to chiropractor to get us off the ground.
