Agreed - true genius. I had the great experience of performing in Leipzig, Germany back in 2022. There I was able to visit two of the churches he worked at. attend a local church choir rehearsal, visit his tomb and the Bach museum, and best of all - I was able to hear the Mass in B minor performed live with all German performers. Amazing concert!

@@ConradAskland I haven't seen them for a while now, which is probably because it's very cold at the moment and it's raining, storming or snowing. Even for professionals like them, it's not easy to play there. Especially since hardly anyone is out and about in the city center in this weather. I've been studying at the university in Leipzig since the fall, which is right in the city center. But unfortunately they're not there at those times anyway, and when I'm there in the evenings, you don't see them that often either. They were last there on December 30, 2024.

@@ConradAskland I still have a recording of Stefan from November 29, 2024, where he played on the edge of the Christmas market, the two always play separately. The recording is not of such good quality and is a bit long. But I think you can also upload longer shorts, up to three minutes, since this year.

No - I've seen Kurios a couple times and have worked with some of the acrobats, but have not played with any of the Kurios musicians. This was a project back in 2023 where Cirque du Soleil asked the show bands to cover a song from a different show. So this is the "Crystal" musicians (where I work as bandleader and accordion) playing our rendition of the song from Kurios. I love the show Kurios and also the music in that show.
