Necromancing an old video here - XCloud is a treat. I use it on my Linux laptop and Quest 3 headset. It works amazingly well, except, for latency sensitive games, such as Fortnite which you specifically mentioned. I keep coming back to try it, but alas, I find it unplayable. Perhaps it is location dependent. Even though latency is claimed to be less than 25ms to the datacenter it is near impossible to aim in the heat of battle, regardless of whether I play with an XBox controller or keyboard and mouse. So I give the first person shooters a skip and enjoy all the other titles. I also noticed in the Quest headset that the video shows quite a bit of compression artifacts but that might be more related to my limited Internet speeds which is regrettably only available at 50 Mbps in my area.

The game doesn’t work on the deck . Tried all protons from 5 to 9 with the same outcome. I’m happy to prove anyone here that it doesn’t work

Damn I bought the Steam Deck for this game and I can't play because it's always crushes...

Great to be reminded of this! I have experimental but I do need to add proton GE. Had it downloaded before but my deck has gone through the ringer a few different times. Tried to go into desktop mode and it blacked out. thought it was running really good for a while. But that switch has always made my heart stop a bit. Not easy for the deck to do.

I can't find controllable when I search it up, does anyone know about a fix or something? Is it now named something else?

You should check out Fur Squadron, it’s quite similar to Star Fox as well, there’s also a sequel to it called Fur Squadron Phoenix which gave Fur Squadron something in common with Banjo Kazooie & Fossil Fighters. All 3 of them are good but the sequels, Banjo Tooie, Fossil Fighters Champions, & Fur Squadron Phoenix, are better. I hope Fur Squadron doesn’t get a bad third game like Banjo & Fossil Fighters did with Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts & Fossil Fighters Frontier.

Filezila is using adwares on Windows, triggers antivirus. Do not use.

I haven't tried this on Linux yet, I do plan to go back to it on my deck, probably bazzite But on Windows I added a 800x600 resolution and I got about 90fps with iffy frametimes. I can see in your recording that frame times are a lot better on Linux in general so try adding a 800x600 resolution, it should def help make it better!

Seemed like great advice but it didn't seem to work for me on Burnout Paradise Remastered. Although choosing to delete the proton files doesn't seem to do anything so maybe that's why?
