Hi. There is a small battery on the motherboard which is there to keep all the information such as date correctly. You should remove it because it can leak and destroy the motherboard. But you can find a replacement cheaply (like $2).

Press the little arrow reset button and it will say acknowledged.

You can also turn the car on full power accessory (without engine running) and press the the gas pedal 3 times and it will reset.

in later model Enclave there is a part of the cover you can open on the right that doesnt require that you remove the cover to get to the fuse box.

I just took a table knife and pried the enter pin out about 3/4 inch and that release anchor to rremove the cover. Dont try to remove the quarter size piece. that will stay in place until the center pin is pulled out.
