In term of tailwalk series model ....which one is better to use....Elan wide power 71 or wide vtn 64 tai game? Please advise
@kennethyap2304 Жыл бұрын
The ratio for 64 tai game is perfect for the speed and yet balance between hi and power reel. I use both but particularly prefers the 64 tai game special.

@@kennethyap2304 thanks Kenneth....I already own Octopus 54l....just wanna add other series....but need some opinions to choose between.....anyway, your opinion help me a lot....I should find the tai game special then....👍... If compare with Shimano model....which model seems similar in term of performance? Grappler? Torium? Or Calcutta Conquest?

@@kennethyap2304 My brother. I love your work obviously you have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to rigging up plastic squids. That is what I use in the islands. Unfortunately we dont have the better quality squids that I see in your videos... wish we did...lol... I use the 2.5inch Danielson mini squid bait with a float which I must say are super effective too but they from American Samoa which are hard to get... lol. Hopefully score some squids from you if possible.. lol. Love your videos. I am a fan of yours forever

I've found this tai rubber in my local store. Going to buy a 100gr and 120gr orange and gold/pink to start. As far as I see from your review seems they are very good product and not so expensive . Going to test in mediterranean see on 35mt - 50mt. Pagrus as target .... let'see. Thanks for all your vids that make me falling in love for tai technique.

Thank you for your comment. Through my experience using the Crazee jigs the quality surpasses brands like Daiwa. Jig head is one thing but the mix of skirts are important too. Lots of trails and error. Good luck and you are welcome to post your catch in my Facebook page. Tai Kabura

Sir, what are you thinking about yozuri vinyl bait series octopus?
@kennethyap23043 жыл бұрын
The Yuzuri will be very similar to the squid skirts from Saboro which was reviewed in this video. Vinyl would be a very stiff material unless it’s a big one for trolling.

@kennethyap23043 жыл бұрын
@@rubenisper961 there are a few stuff that you could put at the end of bombarda. You can use a spoon and at the of the spoon attach a hook. Good quality squid such as the ones I recommend from Suteki or yamashita. They use very soft silicone and thus producing active actions on their tentacles. I know some people uses fly too.

Hi sir, great tutorial. Very helpful. Just like to ask though how many strands of the rubber skirt do you usually put on?? Do you use the whole tab for one jig? Thanks.
@kennethyap23043 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I will not use more then 8 strands of skirts. Try to keep it simple not more then 2 colours. Reason why I don’t use more then 8 is to have better action on the tie. Turbulence created by skirts do affect the flattering action of the tie.

Ok. As for the you can order them through AliExpress. They are a little thick so now I prefer to use brands like owner Cultiva change up skirts or from Yamashita. Recommended weight for tai rubber in Port Dickson?
@kennethyap23044 жыл бұрын
All depend on depth and current. Probably looking at 60 to 80grams and if current is strong maybe max 120 grams

Hi, which Tailwalk taigame model rod weight would you recommend for SG/MY waters. L, ML, M, H ?
@kennethyap23044 жыл бұрын
I would recommend ML to MH as fishes in our waters are more aggressive. H is only used when your jigs tends to be more the 180grams.

The new SSD Tai Game rods are really good with spiral guides setting. Most importantly it’s a full solid blank with very think tip to create sensitivity.

How many grams is the perfect head and how many meters depth?
@OCEANOUTKAST4 жыл бұрын
Depending on the sea conditions this will vary. Generally the way it works, 40grm = 40m, 100grm = 100m... but again, depending on sea current.
@taikabura94234 жыл бұрын
Well basically the rule of thumb is 2 grams per meter as many has suggested. So say 40 meters, you’ll probably use 80 grams. Then again, it all depends on the water current during that particular day. I usually use 100 to 120 grams for depth of 40 to 55 meters. Then when I fish in Japan around the Nakajima islands. I’ll use 150 grams as it’s average depth are between 80 to 100 meters.

The original hooks coming with the tai rubber packs seem small to me, especially when I saw the size of the queenfish you caught on this video
@taikabura94234 жыл бұрын
Yes. These hooks are specifically made for tai game. Small, light but strong. If you use any heavier hooks it will not flatter along with the ties and thus chances of hook up are less.
