I’ve recently taken to rehauling my boogeyman mask. It’s nice to see that we don’t all have to be airbrush experts. I’d also prefer to just do straight acrylic and liquid latex. Cheers for sharing mate.

The upper shroud is pretty easily removed if that's a preference.. the ammo counter and speaker are also easily removed. The rest of the blaster can be sprayed black without disassembly, once the upper shroud is painted the colour of your choice it's just reassembly... with zero masking. 😊

So Nerf decided to release a toygun based on a weapon from a movie from the 80's that most kids will have not seen and wouldnt even legally be alowed to watch? Or they released it for the fans of the movies who are now adults but who obviously wouldnt want an innaccurate childish looking version so why not just release an adult collectors version and a bright childish version?

Its a Nerf blaster, its painted to look like one. They cant legally sell it painted in dark colors. I like the yellow paint, makes it look like an old-school N-strike nerf blaster which is awesome. I already have the airsoft version for "accurate colors".

@@MrAdam802 depending on licensing of course they could sell it legally but my point is that no kid wpuld k ow what this gub is from so it is clealry aimed at adult collectors who will clearly want to customise it.

Yeah, a strange situation, isn‘t it? The Nerf paint scheme, btw, is not as childish as it might seem. Go watch the movie again and pay attention to the power loader scenes.

one of the best boogeyman rehauls ive seen. i'd say just trim and matte the hair a bit more and its perfect. thats closet scene 200%
