He mentions this is a kinda temporary or emergency fix, and is an excellent idea for those who may become stranded climbing hills. The only real downside is I suspect the DPD media may continue to fall apart and slowly build up in the exhaust or muffler, and create a new blockage.

Nope none of that. All the meterial blew out. Exhaust system is fine, normal. No issues and EGT temp should be less under load. Bear In mind that only do this if you have a tune and DPF delete in the software

Hey, sorry for late reply. I love the fridge man. Works really well. It's well insulated so is efficient and the 95L is huge and spacious. Love it. Only thing is, you need to lock the touch display with the mobile app otherwise the wife and kids accidentally change the settings. And the low profile is a winner

Cause it would be more difficult to close up if need be which I didn't need to. Also, the muffler has fiber and baffles in so might not work so well

Thanks for the awesome review. You will always have a voltage drop when the compressor is running. Thats due to the load of the compressor and the electronics. Please always run the fridge on Max mode. It will be much more effective and run much better in our temperatures. Eco limits the compressor. 😁🙏

It's the pressure increase from blocked dpf. Did you try and force regenerate driving for thirty mins close to the high rev red line in low gears on a highway

Um no. I did it to remove the restriction of the DPF creating a more free flow from turbo. Therefore, the EGT temps should be lower sparing the turbo

I see how this isn't the best way of doing things I normally remove the dpf to get the stuff out easier and use a respirator Done right is a very cheap increase in power and better for the engine hope he got rid of the egr aswell As for bringing his children in to it is a nasty thing a real jobs worth would say

Its not well understood that if the DPF is damaged or removed, that the vehicle will often go into limp mode! The DPF MUST be deleted in the ECU as well as physically removed..........messing around with drills is pointless.

Thats why you take it off instead of leaving holes in the bottom. Its impossible for them to tell if its been tampered with as long as the box is still there

Well actually, not. Under normal driving there's no smoke. I only saw some after I nailed it up a Dune but that is understandable due to excess fuel. And the engine is tuned so, even more chuffed that there's no smoke

Ah so glad you finding some value in it. That was my hope for making these videos. It definitely does help. Obviously some water will get in around the circumstance of the drum but at least the mud and other stuff will be limited. It certainly does help for me. Remember to us the adhesive silicone like Stick Like Shit. Not the normal silicone sealer. Cheers

Hello , any update how it was ? I literally did the Same thing to my om605 W202 Diesel Benz. Straight piped without muffler - too loud. Muffler on with a straight pipe - too quiet. Planning to do the same thing after your video.
