Hi, just wondering if you could share some knowledge of Haw Creek. We have a 12' RIB w/ 25hp outboard and I'm wondering how navigable it is from Crescent Lake to Bunnell. Is it very sketchy trying to navigate that stretch along Haw Creek and Black Branch Canal? Also, from Brunnell would you happen to know if there are navigable canals/creeks to the Intracoastal, so that we could get to Palm Coast from Brunnell in our RIB, that you know of? Thanks!

Those "Butter Cats" are delicious! I'd take them over channel cat, although channels are pretty good as well. Enjoyed it!

Yes, it can be done with all fish. It's just up to the person if they wanted it to do it.

How’s it a trash fish it’s been in those waters since the dinosaurs I don’t see how a native species is trash fish
@badbonesoutdoors9761 Жыл бұрын
It's not a good eating fish. As for catching and releasing they're fun. Just not great for a meal. The meat turns to mush. Most of the locals here call them trash fish. Catching any fish is a good day on the water. As I'm sure all fishermen would agree.

if you want to know why is Floridians call them trash fish go lick a septic tank, And that's what a mudfish tastes like,I just caught one that was 26 lbs
Great video and great fish! I just subscribed…I started my own KZbin fishing channel a couple of months ago and I really enjoyed your video. Keep up the good work!

CRAPPIE Look dark--a lot of tanic acid in the lake you are fishing ?? I fish lake okechobee-fish are not as dark from there.
@badbonesoutdoors9761 Жыл бұрын
Yes. The lake has lots of trees and dark water. So the crappie here tends to be darker. Thanks for watching!

What kind of bait are you using for the sheep head/black drum and it is possible to catch them from the pier where you are or is a boat needed?
@badbonesoutdoors97613 жыл бұрын
Fiddler crabs for bait and many people fish from the docks or piers that are close to the channel weirs. November- February are the best months for catching them here. A boat isn't necessary. Happy fishing!

@@badbonesoutdoors9761 thank you sir! So from boat ram turn right or left and how far? I live in Orlando, I really want to try 1 time go to cast net shrimp
@badbonesoutdoors97613 жыл бұрын
@@hungvu6797 once in the water head straight out from the ramp and then tiny bit South. You'll probably see a few boats in the channel searching for shrimp. Follow your depth finder to find ledges and cast on the deeper sides. If you can't find any there you may have to head South about half a mile down from the ramp. Great luck & happy shrimping!
