is a 2.5 radiant cut considered in the small, mid, or large category?
@VanessaNicoleJewels2 күн бұрын
It walks the line between mid/large for typical wearers. Especially when considering the setting, which can make it appear even larger if there's a halo. For celebrities who like to be talked about by the press, it would fall into the small category ;)

Is it a concern if your engagement ring and wedding band are constantly rubbing against each other? I am worried about my wedding band scratching my engagement ring, but I dont want them soldered together.

What is the Mm of the band size. Is that a 1mm or?
@VanessaNicoleJewels2 күн бұрын
Our most commonly requested wedding band is 1.9mm wide, but it depends on the design. We don't make anything less than 1.70mm.

Another way to clean diamond some other gemstone rings is to soak them over night in denture cleaner. The bubbling from the tablet disolving will dislodge stuck on particles . Rinse the jewelry like one do with dentures. I often just do a few rings at a time and use half tablet dissolved. Other times i also use dish soap as well. Can you advise with a video about proper cleaning of sterling silver rings with various gemstones? I have used the acid dips ( I try to avoid that stuff) but i know it’s not for porous stones. Also Native American rings are difficult to clean because some areas are intentionally oxidized or inked in and the desired finish ruined if not cleaned correctly. Thank you
@VanessaNicoleJewels9 күн бұрын
Thank you for watching! 😀 Yes, some people use denture cleaner. We don't make sterling silver jewelry, so our videos are primarily geared at precious metals and diamonds.

Which is considered to be more “one of a kind”, a Natural Diamond or a Lab Grown Diamond?
@VanessaNicoleJewels9 күн бұрын
We can make any ring one-of-a-kind based on the design of the setting, creating it exclusively for each couple. Between diamonds alone, though, natural diamonds are generally considered more "one of a kind" than lab-grown diamonds. Here's why: Natural diamonds: - Formed over billions of years deep within the Earth - Each has unique inclusions and characteristics - No two are exactly alike due to natural variations Lab-grown diamonds: - Created in controlled settings over a short period - Can be more uniform in their characteristics - While still unique, they lack the same degree of variation Natural diamonds are often valued for the idea that each one is truly unique. However, it's worth noting that lab-grown diamonds are chemically and physically identical to natural diamonds, and the differences are not visible to the naked eye. Great question! :) -VN

There is a price to pay to someone, in any industry, for their experience. Just to have the opportunity to see three stones of this caliber next to each other is worth any nonminimal fee. Do you and your limited experience, as a customer, believe that you could have sourced these magnificent examples?

I don't like anything that's not real. Something like diamonds and gems tell the story of time. I remember in the 80's when CZ came out ,cheap back then, made nice Christmas presents but I wouldn't consider it next to a precious diamond. I bought what I thought was a diamond at 1500. Only to be told by the jeweler who resized it with a laugh it ain't real. 😂😂😂😂😂

Here’s an analogy…Sugar, the sweet stuff that nobody needs , but everyone likes was very, very expensive, in the fifteenth century. Now Sugar is a common household item. Diamonds are looking at the same future, as Sugar and diamonds will be sold by the pound.

Absolutely stunning. Ironically, I just received the exact same setting from my husband for our 20th anniversary with an 8.30ct oval diamond as well. The question I have is what is the best choice for pairing a wedding ring with this setting? A Chevron ring or two? I was even thinking of placing a trapezoid in the space in the Y just as an added pop of sparkle. Can you guide me to any resources to look at potential wedding band (s?)
@VanessaNicoleJewels20 күн бұрын
Happy anniversary! Thank you for watching 😀 The most common wedding band chosen for this style is a shadow band that wraps around the exact shape. We show our clients a CAD rendering of both rings side-by-side so they can see how they pair well together. Although depending on how much finger coverage is, some women don't use a wedding band with this style.

So, if I can see some space under a prong, should I use a 28 oz hammer or a 34 oz hammer to tap it back down?
@VanessaNicoleJewels20 күн бұрын
I don't know about size, but yes, I generally use a pneumatic hammer. Always being careful of corners, of course.
