Poor play calls (punt on fourth and inches anyone?), a defense that couldn't get off the field until the Ravens scored, an anemic rushing attack... Russ had as many TD passes as the Ravens... Since the Steelers last won a playoff game, 28 coaches not named Tomlin did the same. Who is the common denominator?

And Tomlin has been horrible at choosing/hiring them. The Lions DC is who I think should be our next head coach (for those who think Tomlin is irreplaceable). He lost half his defense and still had good game plans and showed up to every game ready to fight. I can't say that was the case for the Steelers in the final stretch. Totally understandthey weren't supposed to win all 5 of these games. But the manner in which they were unprepared and outclassed is too much. It takes it to a whole new level.

Wilson lead the league in comeback games last year, at least he did before the BS benching. But when you have Dan Moore and WR's who drop passes left and right you should not be blaming just the QB which most Steeler fans seem to do. We had the same issue last year in Denver with Mike McGlinchy. In order for Russ to shine he needs guys that can hold their blocks.

People are saying locals like it's everyone in Pittsburgh, when it's a small minority of fans who are convinced that Tomlin's start and longevity in Pittsburgh is a DEI thing. These are the same folks that call him Dumblin because they are following the same tired troupe - when this man went to a school they could never get into - and has created a hybrid of the two historical defenses in Steelers lore (3-4 blitzburg and the Bud Carson Steel Curtain now known as the Tampa 2, and navigated a C2 QB contract and still had top 5 defenses. No one talks about Ben's 12 INTs in two of those playoff games or the fact that Bell, Brown and Ben played in only 1 playoff game together.

Local Steeler fan here. Yes, Tomlin has some bad losses in the playoffs (Tebow), but every coach has them. However, I think Tomlin's ability to get the most out of the team in the regular season gives the fans unrealistic expectations in the post season. Could anyone have won a playoff game in the last 5 years with Ben's ghost of an arm or the other guys we had under center. We haven't been a championship caliber team and thus no titles. I rather have at least a good team every year with a chance to peak at the right time than tank, build, win, sell, and repeat model other teams have tried.

Tomlin has taken rosters than anyone else would be 4-12 with year after year and wills them into the playoffs more often than not and .500 or above always. We were 10-7 with Trubisky, Mason and Pickett, that should be IMPOSSIBLE. Anyone who thinks this man hasn't been performing miracles over the last 7 years is delusional. The reason we haven't won a playoff game in 7 seasons is because we haven't had a roster capable of competing in the playoffs since the Killer Bs.
