Yes You Can use but just keep in mind that salicylic Acid is basically for oily and acne Prone Skin. If you have so then you can use. Vitamin c can also be used. I want to add that don't start directly from serums because they have more amount of these actives. You should use such products which have these actives in them like moisturizer or face wash or Sunscreen. I hope that would be helpful for you

I have done a real sun test for 2 sunscreen_ 30 min under the sun (lakme sun expert spf 50 & lotus spf50 matte) and trust me lotus is a rubbish sunscreen made my half face fully tanned whereas lakme got tanned too but half lighter shade compared to lotus.... Both are a waste after paying so much money, no protection at all.. People talk about sweat proof, eye stinging,white cast, skin blending, matte, dew, oily, acne prone n all these stuff but did anyone ask about whether it gives any protection from tanning 🤣, nobody is bothered about that at all.. Let me tell you - it gives zero protection from tanning.. It'll be the Last pack of lotus sunscreen in my drawer.

Yes, even after application of sunscreen the skin do get tanned. But they surely protect your skin from damage that sun rays cause. Suppose if you go out without a sunscreen your skin really get more damaged that you won't be able to repair. Tanning could be cured but not internal damage to the skin.
