Did a great job of showing a wide variety of scenes. I too bought the same lens, but videography isn't my priority. Still good to know it's a decent system.

Perfect "How-to!" First 7 minutes will do it all for you! Just 7 minutes! Everything after 7 min is Bonus after Bonus after Bonus! Thank you❗❗ When you start your color grade process, node 1, how do you decide where to place the pointer so the frame you see in the display window is the best of the clip while evaluating the color grade results? The clip with the watch on the table probably doesn't matter as all the frames are similar. But in example 1 with your head on the desk, maybe in 2 seconds you stand up and move to the window. What do you consider when determining which frame to display in the window as you color grade? Or does it matter as long as the camera/lens/settings don't change in the clip?
@endlesshorizonvisuals5 күн бұрын
Thank you a lot, I’m glad you like the video. For me, the scene where I put my head on the table is the main one, so I color graded this scene and when I stand up, exposure changes drastically and I use a hard cut to transition to the next scene. I always color graded the main scenes what I want to show and what I don’t want, I just use a hard cut or any other transition to hide the unwanted.

Thanks bro. Let me ask you, do you shoot at around +2EV?
@endlesshorizonvisuals6 күн бұрын
@@kunlestudio393 Thanks for watching mate. I usually use zebras for exposure but it is between +0.3 and +1.3 it depends what you want to expose. Sometimes I go even +2.0, let’s say you have to expose the person in your shot and there is a bright light like sun for example so M.M. will show +2.0 so you have to blow up the highlights to get a proper exposure of that person and then its very handy to use zebras so you don’t blow up the highlights of that person/subject if you know what I mean 🙂 I have a video about exposing slog 3 if you are interested 😊 👉kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYmpoHaCbNeZfbMsi=1FlJM0albH5NMDC8

That is a tiny lamp- and you and the a6700 made the most of it. Beautifully done and inspiring in a strangely contradicting way: Here am I in the far northern winter, too cold to go out, too frustrated to sleep, I want to create, there is no subject... hey, that is my subject! It is very watchable and the low light is absolutely the atmosphere needed. Thank you for posting this gem.

First i will say one thing every camera regardless of sensor size is not created equal. Then you have to take into consideration the lens that is used. Third what are you looking for in your photography, the subject that you will photograph, the light that you will work in and what will you do with your photos. How much will you post process your photos and will you print and frame your work and lastly what is your budget for your camera and lens. As much as sensor size is brought up in conversation, not everyone needs or can afford a full frame camera and lens.
@endlesshorizonvisuals13 күн бұрын
Totally agree, I just want to add that you can achieve great things with budget friendly gear too.

If you have 86"+ 8K TV, you do need a full frame camera. If not, a one inch sensor camera is more than enough for 4K TV.

If you’re a passionate photographer you’ll notice the difference in sensor size within your images
@charlessands345814 күн бұрын
You probably will notice a difference, but is it enough of a difference for you changing everything and going to lenses that are probably twice as much which are expensive anyway?
@Ericpalmer60614 күн бұрын
@@charlessands3458 Yes. If you shoot all the time and are constantly looking over images. But for people more casual about photography a crop sensor is just fine

I moved from the Fuji X-S20 to the Nikon Zf. I notice a big difference in dynamic range, highlight roll-off, and the overall "3D pop" of the image. It is just a more pleasing image. I'm sure the average non-photographer wouldn't notice, but it makes me happy.
@endlesshorizonvisuals14 күн бұрын
@@NickErickson I was shooting for tourism company with apsc camera Sony a6700 and it was perfectly fine. For traveling also absolutely beast compact lightweight, but I was blessed to earn more money and get the full frame one. Because I want the highest quality possible for my photography and video. But for people who just love to take stills for their travel or social media, apsc is really enough 👌

@@Absolutemadman666 Thanks man. Well for low light use wide aputure f1.4, shoot raw, but if you don’t want to edit pics use jpegs. Turn off the Picture Profile (PP) or if you will shoot jpegs you can create a preset in PP and keep it on. Also when you shoot with 30mm lens just keep your shutter not lower than 1/60. That will make sure that photos comes out sharp. If you have to go lower than you need a tripod or very very steady hand 😀 and have a great time mate 🙌

sir am i ask if i buy my first lens is it better sigma 18-50 f2.8 or the 18-105 f4 sony, i want to make low light video on the beach with light resource only the fire
@endlesshorizonvisuals21 күн бұрын
18-105 f4 is awesome lens, I have owned one but in low light f4 is not great, so I would go for 18-50 f2.8. But f2.8 is also not the best at low light. If you shoot before the sunset or during, maybe on blue hour it might be ok. To be honest I normally use Sigma 16mm f1.4 or 56mm f1.4 for low light.
