can a 25 kva generator push power to LED RBG lighs and equipment
@kellyeaton72523 ай бұрын
This question somewhat doesn't make sense. What matters is that the generator is capable of producing voltage within the acceptable range of the devices intended to be powered at the frequency (Hz) they are designed to operate with. In the US, 120V, 60Hz is standard for most film use intended RGB LED fixtures. All US generators designed for film will produce these power specifications. As for the kVA, that is dependent on how many of these fixtures you intend to power. With 25 kVA, you can power quite a few standard sized LED fixtures.

Interesting observation for sure; given his job, I get it but it’s also a bit of a reminder at what the industry depends on: sales and eyeballs…to the die-hard and unique indie filmmakers, that can be disheartening

Its the LP's Job to breakdown down the boards, confirm the DOOD (Day out of Days) for cast and then create a detailed LINE ITEM budget, making sure each dept and categories line items are budgeted correctly for the basis of the project you are on. Having weekly cost report meetings and working with your BOSSES or Head of Production to ensure that each week and sometimes daily...the numbers and line items are in check. hope this helps....

I’m still trying to figure out how the Executive in Charge of Production differs from a Line Producer.
@tanyamusgrave1335 Жыл бұрын
I believe that an executive in charge of production is not on set as much as a line producer is… At least that is the impression that I’ve gotten so far
@eliallen3860 Жыл бұрын
That would make sense because the line producer usually also receives the title “Produced by” (which refers to the Production Facilities Producer) as they also handle physical production facilities on-set, i.e., choreographer, stunts, a bird or an insect flying in the air, etc.
@peterstars Жыл бұрын
@@tanyamusgrave1335 the Exec in Charge of Production is the equivalent of the Line Producer on the studio side. Simple as that. It doesn’t exist on the show side

Hey, Nice video. I am trying to connect a 4k HMI to a similar Honda. I am having a hard time finding a correct way to connect a stage pin into it. If you have any info and share with me that would make my day.
@davidgeorge85902 жыл бұрын
You will need to make up a special cable to go from the generator - whatever twist lock spec it has - to a stage pin/bates plug. Make sure you are using the correct voltage and appropriate connectors for you application. Depending on your situation it may be 240 volt or 120 volt, so you need to make sure all the equipment you have is suitable to be used together and set to the correct operating mode. You should be able to look up schematics for the connectors you need: hot/neutral/ground, but make sure you've sized the wire appropriately for your application as well.
@edsonphilippe582 жыл бұрын
I would connect the 4k light in the 120/240 volt 4 pin connection

Hey thanks for sharing your comparison. I know M-18 is still the king of house power-able units but LEDs are catching up quickly. I think M18s and Jolekos have two years left and any HMI 1800W and lower will be replaced. Re your 600D, I don’t use mine on a console generally but it does have Lumenradio and doesn’t need a dongle.
