Its the way Eli is present when Oscar speaks, without rushing to give a response. The mhs...yes. 🙌🏾 Its the way Oscar uses such big words and phrases to put his point across. 🙌🏽 Good to have you back gentlemen.

Finally an episode that is not superficial, real and for the men. This was great. I hope the next episodes will continue living up to this standard. Men are going through so much behind the curtains and that's what this pod should try focus on and not just pander to women issues.

Hi mantalk ke! I don't know if you share Jacob Aliet's sentiments about masculinity,if you do(or don't), please invite him to mantalk,it would be nice to host (interview)him.

Eli Mwenda experienced grief, he says, but the positive belief wriggled away that and kept him moving the dice. It's a privilege to grieve, it shows that you loved someone, and someone loved you.

To Eli , we share from our scars not from our wounds. *If that makes sense regarding the loss and grief bit. Overall Great convo! Related 💯

I think what Oscar meant is that the brain works with evidence, when you have failed and picked yourself up before, the mind keeps track; so when faced with a new challenge you can easily talk and encourage yourself thru it and actually believe it( which is the most important part); that you will get thru this new challenge because you've proven it to yourself in the past. That's my understanding. Like you said grit and resilience are learned and they are also evidence based. You don't believe in youself and in your ability to go thru a challeng enough, if it's purely theoretical. Great episode!

Welcome back! This conversation was a perfect balance between hindsight and theory. We definitely need both to keep walking. Love and hugs to Eli❤❤. Keep walking.

Gentlemen, I can't overstate how important I personally think this episode has and will continue to be for a lot of men as result of the openness and vulnerability displayed here. Firstly, I think you've helped a lot men relate to you in the sense that you obviously deal with very heavy issues ranging from financial to mental/emotional issues just like everybody else, which should hopefully dispel any notion that your lives are perfect. I admire the bravery to show this side of yourselves on a channel subscribed to by 42k strangers! There's a lot of takeaways from the episode but the biggest one for me was as men (or even women), show up for each other and give other people a chance to show up for you. No need to walk this journey alone or let anyone walk theirs alone. Sending positive vibes from the dusty city of Kampala in Uganda. Coffee on me incase I ever run into you lot when I'm in Nairobi. God bless.
