I was excited to receive the Air Force MA-1 from My PilotStore. After carefeul research, I could have went with a lower cost provider, but what sold me was MyPilotStore dedication to customer service and quality. Unfrotunately, it did not turn out that way. They were far from their customer service motto. With labels still attached I put on the jacket and the pocket button snaps flew off, no pun intended. when I attepted to open in. I was not impressed with the quality. No worries, I can simply return. Not the case. Long story short, I still have not received my refund, or response, since I shipped it back to My Pilot Store. Fortunately, American Express, stepped up and issued me the refund. Moral of the story, if gonna take a risk, go with tried an true customer service company like American Express. Judging from the old videos, My Pilot Store, seems uninterested in their brand. Shop at your own risk.

MA-1 is an oversized fit and one size down is advised unless you wanna have that baloon on back of the jacket. Perfect ix definitely one and two sizes down. Only the slim fit MA-1's can be in your actual size.🫡👍🏻💯

It needs a separate aircraft-specific calibration for the Cessna 150, which only has 11.25 gallons useable in standard tanks, not the 12.5 useable found in the 152. If they fix this, I'd gladly purchase two to have a backup, and recommend to everyone in the Cessna 150-152 club.

Hi, I have been using my ICOM IC-A22 for so many years now and that I am very happy with the unit. While I already need to replace its original battery pack (CM-166), instead of buying an original pack, I was told its cheaper to replace the 10 pieces - 2/3A batteries inside the pack, probably even using a higher mAh than the original 600mAh. That way, I could use the radio much - much longer. Is this something you can recommend? Will this not damage the radio? Your thoughts / opinion on the matter will be appreciated. Thanks & regards!

Haha sorry for bother, I found it - the interruption is caused by having Wx alerts ON!

Please could you help identify a problem with my same radio: The reception is cut intermittently every 5 sec and the Rx sign disappears for an instant. Equal intervals. Strangely, reception is OK on Wx channel and on the emergency channel when dialed by the red emergency button. When I dial the same 121.5 by hand it starts to interrupt. Very strange… Thanks!
