@rajkumargurung682 ай бұрын
20 Miles River off of Sewad Highway before you get to Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Or you can drive about 10/15 minutes towards South from the Gas station in Seward Highway, you will see lots of people fishing off of the Highway!

When snagging the salmon I thought they had to be around the mouth area?
@rajkumargurung682 ай бұрын
That’s true but some specific areas in Alaska, we are allowed to snag them only in salt water not in fresh water.
@larryboboutdoors2 ай бұрын
@rajkumargurung68 yeah we did that on Nash road in Seward there was a sign out there that said this side is salt and this side is fresh.had to go past that sign to snag in the SALTWATER.

Are there many sunny days in Alaska in winter? It looks very beautiful, but given that Alaska is located in very northern latitudes, the polar night is psychologically not very comfortable
@rajkumargurung685 ай бұрын
Alaska has very short days in winter. People could get easily depressed in winter.Start getting daylight around 10am and start getting dark around 4pm
@kiryllshynharow90585 ай бұрын
@@rajkumargurung68 we have +1 light hour at the morning and +1 light hour at the evening in winter here Yes, short day is the worst thing in the winter Some places, say southern Siberia / northern China the frosts in winter are not inferior to yours, but the latitude corresponds to New York or even further south - they have many sunny days in winter

0:19 clean roads how do you do this? In winter, our roads are filled with a mixture of sand and salt, which makes the city look terribly dirty Or are your temperatures so low that icy roads are not a problem?
@rajkumargurung685 ай бұрын
In Alaskan roads, we never use salt but only sands . And recently we have record breaking snow cold temperature and snow this year. That’s why it looks so clean and clear. We had around negative -10 degrees Fahrenheit temperatures almost 2/3 weeks ago.
