I’ve been a Fujifilm camera owner for around twelve years now and currently own an X100VI and an X-T5. I upgraded from the X100V to the VI but I have regretted it as I prefer the V. Yes, it’s got IBIS and a 40mp sensor as does the X-T5 but the V is definitely better in many ways. I’ve wanted the Q3 since it was launched and had been on the waiting list too a year back, but right at had spent a fortune on a MacBook Pro, one became available. I had to say thank you but sorry to that purchase. Now, the Q3 is much easier to find in my favourite store in Glasgow so I’m now thinking about selling all the Fujifilm kit and buying the Q3. It would be the only camera I would own then (apart from the one in my mobile phone) so I’m seriously thinking about buying it. 🏴

I enjoyed your video and i agree with what you're saying BUT i think (especially for travel) you left out probably the best brand (i said it again: for travel). In my humble opinion anyone looking for a travel camera system must consider Olympus - om system. I ve used Nikon, Canon, Sony in the past. For travel photography (especially if you hike snowshoing, Sea kayaking etc) Olympus is the best system because of the size - weight ( especially size and weight of the lenses) and the best weather sealing in the industry. The 12-40 2.8 or the 12-100 mm f4 lenses are the best choises for travel. Also the tiny Panasonic 9 mm 1.7 is a fantastic lens if someone looking for something wider. The week spot of the system is the night photography but it's not terrible. You can work around the small size of the sensor with a good fast prime lens ( like Olympus 17 mm 1.2). Happy new year and greetings from Greece!

I own fairly complete Nikon, Fuji, Olympus and Panasonic systems as well as a Fuji GSW690. Fuji has been the most unreliable with 3 out of 3 bodies needing expensive repairs. Love my Olympus EM1 MkIII and Panasonic G9 and their extraordinary lenses. But the one camera that always delivers is the Nikon D850 with a Tamron 24-70 GII. I just printed a 1.2 meter wide harness racing print and it is fantastic. The Tamron 70-200GII is glued to the other D850 body. Holidays? The Fuji XT2 with kit lens- 18-55 and 14mm f2.8. Gliding into semi retirement I’ll probably keep the G9 and the PanaLeica lenses. I’ve been a pro for 52 years.

I prefer Lumix, mainly because I'm someone who needs the best performance in dim lighting. The only major downside I remember is that the lens' selection isn't quite as great, at least if the budge isn't there. All cameras that aren't strictly Cine cameras got at least some feature missing in them. For example, no RAW, no stabilization in 4k, no open gate, etc. As far as I know, if RAW capture was more standard for stills cameras, we wouldn't need to worry about colors much, if any. Modern camera decisions aren't simple. There are all of these intricacies or aspects to a camera that need to be considered, so buying a perfect camera is a complex kind of thing. If only I could invest in a proper Cine camera apart from my current photo camera, it would be neat. The S5 II is worth a great value at a relatively affordable price, and that's important if you need to invest much into the lens.

One of the best videos about camera subject, thanks for sharing. How is Fuji in low light conditions? I am retiring in few months and need a toy to play with. Mostly landscape photography since old people don't like to be photographed. And some videos as well. I narrowed down to Fuji xs20 and Nikon z6 ii but would prefer compact system. I own Sony RX100 v now. My lenses would be kit zoom and one fast prime for indoor.
@wesleystreetshotsАй бұрын
@@stanleygabrel1045 thank you!! I would say you couldn’t go wrong with either camera. I’ve owned them both. Mostly shot the z6ii at weddings. It always performed admiringly indoors as did the x-s20. I’d lean towards the z6ii because it’s weather sealed and has two card slots if photo is your main priority. The x-s20 however had much better video specs, a better screen for video, and is much smaller. So for you it would have to come down to what you’ll do more off. If that’s video and not in bad weather the Fuji. If it’s landscapes or a chance of shooting in weather the Nikon. Of course the z6iii would be absolutely perfect for you if that’s in your budget. Cheers.

I shoot slightly differently. I set my shutter speed and aperture manually and then use the exposure compensation with auto ISO enabled (matrix metering). That works quicker in most situations. If you go from a bright scene to a dark scene, the metering will move you to the higher ISO automatically and then you can fine tune it with the exposure compensation - which only controls ISO. It's all personal preference - whatever works best for you!
