As a BMW mechanic I laugh every time I pop the hood and see an exposed air filter... Sure the OE airbox is far from the best design but if all you had to do was take the top off and slap a bigger filter on to improve it do you really think BMW wouldn't have thought of that 🤣

Problem is BimmerLink does not recognize different oil change intervals as is true of the F22 M235i which is 5K. The app does not recognize the specific model in this case. Further it seems to have tanked the terrible BMW check oil level feature. Will have to reach out to BimmerLink about this...
