I've tried another approach. I did "single corner-like" sketch (1/6 part of final shape) and then did series of copy/past/rotate duplication of it, for every plane, building final shape from 6 sketches. For the beginning it looked easier then your approach. But I failed when I started to extrude them. I didn't figure how to make all faces symmetrical around central point.

I came up with another approach based on your comment. I think I'll make another video later. Thanks.

I didn't get the idea. You said that you wanted to have intersection but didn't show it at the end.
@ardworkshop552 күн бұрын
I may have used the wrong words. By 'an intersecting body of a conical and prismatic shape,' I meant a body formed by combining a cone and a rectangular prism.

Amazing technique as always ❤. Wouldn't it be easier to achieve the same form with T splines and some twists to the edges?
@ardworkshop5517 күн бұрын
That might be true. I chose this method because I’m more comfortable with it than T-spline modeling, but T-spline might offer more flexibility. Thanks for wathcing!

Never seen any dimension the control handles... What's the reason for that?
@ardworkshop552 ай бұрын
It is to numerically control the tangential direction and curvature.
