How can I test with a ohmmeter the function of the wired hunter rain sensor ?

I don't live in Santa Barbara, but I really appreciate this video. It is good to see a fellow woman doing the repair. I found this video today and fixed my drip system with no problem. A tree trunk had expanded around the tubing and caused a leak. I also use a hair dryer to make the ends of the tubing more pliable. It is helpful if you have weaker hands. Thanks so much for this video.
