Lived there for 7 years. Returned, walked around the alert area. Creepy as shit. Back inits time, I would have been shot. It was ashame the see the base rot away. Nature reclames.

It sounds like this man was demon possessed and allowed anger and hatred to rule his actions. It’s sad to see or hear of anyone who has allowed evil to corrupt them. Thank you for the work you put into making this video! I’ve always loved history especially that time period. People like you bring the reality of life at that time to us whereas schools only teach government propaganda.

Thanks for posting. My ancestor William A. Fox pvt 16th NC was wounded in Pickett's Charge and sent to a hospital in Richmond. He later returned to fight and was wounded again the following May at Battle of the Wilderness. After that he was sent home. His picture is posted on find a grave, in his Tarheel uniform.

Surviving Pickett's charge means one of a couple of things. It could mean he got as far as the Emmitsburg Pike and then sheltered behind the rail fence until those who did cross the fence came streaming back toward Seminary ridge. Or perhaps he was really lucky and did cross the road and the fence and escaped injury and capture to retreat. Only God knows now.

@@Jon-g2d5k I believe seven out of ten Confederate soldiers benefited in no way from slavery. Actually slavery worked against the small farmer In the South, he had to complete with the plantation owner who could get his crop to market first. Do I believe slavery was right, no I do not, but I had a great grandfather who served four years in the Arkansas volunteers CSA ,and there Is no record of him ever owning a slave. Way did he severe in the CSA army? I am sure some day (If not now) some one will ask way did I severe in Viet Nam? History is History no matter how someone rewrites,my Confederate great grandfather fought at the Battle of Champion's Hill, a quarter of a mile away was another of my great grandfathers who was fighting with the Kentucky volunteer infantry USA.History is History a matter of fact, you can write it any way you want to ,but are you right?
