Chuck Otte has a great philosophy on birding. Making the most out of your time observing a bird is very important to remembering it for next time. I have used my camera as binoculars in the past so I'm going to try it differently this cold season. Thank you for the recording!

Thanks for the comment, Brad. We're going to follow your advice and get a microphone. Hopefully, the quality of the audio will be improved.

These videos are a great idea and I look forward to them. The audio on this is for the most part not understandable. A simple inexpensive external mic would make a world of difference. If you can't understand all that is being said they become of no use to watch. Thanks.

Brad - you're right, we need a microphone and we're taking steps to get one. Thanks for your comments, we'll keep them in mind. Jill

It's really nice to have these recorded for others who were not able to make it. I would suggest some attention to things like keeping the horizon level for better viewing and it is becoming very clear the need for an external mic much closer to the main speaker. The audio is next to incomrehensible and when the audience reacts it almost blows the speakers out of ones computer. Just some things to help in the future.
