If not for what the hell is it for?

The stealth bomber will go more than half way around the world and deliver a bomb load without being found on radar. No drone can do that.

The people that maintain it call it a hanger do to every B2 needing several to tens of hours of involved, detailed, and costly maintenance for every single hour it is in operation. If this maintenance lags the stealth quality degrades. One of the maintenance tasks is a “stealth putty/caulk” that starts blowing off from the very moment it takes to flight which means it’s radar cross section increases with as it operates. Also, the heat signature may be dealt with some, but it still has a very clear IR signature that can be picked up from the rear at ranges that allow enemies to eliminate the B2 before reaching target. Our stealth aircraft is the main reason Russian and Chinese planes feature IR sensors facing forward. The B2 is slow as pouring a cold jar of coal pitch. Drones can fly longer, be smaller, pull G’s humans can’t, take risks humans shouldn’t, and won’t lose a highly trained individual who can provide intelligence to enemies that a drone can’t, and a drone does not take years and millions to train and does not cost the billions a B2’s purchase price is.

@@211212112 I worked with Northrop years ago. The company did a radar return test. It would show up on radar at about 20 miles, which would be too late to respond with getting a fighter jet into the air. ✌️
