Great advice I love this🥹 I didn’t move out from my parent’s house until I was 29 (36 currently). So at that time I had just gotten blessed with a job where I could finally afford to move out on my own. Now…😂 It was NOT luxurious at all bc I was making just enough to get by. So I found a studio apartment 450 sqft (I called it my shoebox 🤣) but I was so proud my 1st apartment bc I did it all by myself with my own money. It wasn’t easy putting the money together and I shed some tears in the process but I still remember that first night in my apt. I had just enough money to buy gas and little bit of groceries until my next paycheck but I was soooo HAPPY 🥰. Do your research, pray on your choices so the Lord can lead you to the best place 🙏🏾 save as much as you can before you move and most importantly rent a place that YOU can afford. You can always upgrade later bc right now isn’t “forever” 🥰💗🌻

I was so surprised that I was able to let go of secular music immediately. I would listen to Meg the Stallion's Tiny Desk concert almost every morning and I can't even imagine going back to it. I was grocery shopping one day and Ciara and Ludacris "Ride" came on and the spirit of lust came over me something terrible, so now I have to wear my earbuds when I'm out and about. The way I felt when I heard that song, made me feel so dirty and I've never felt like that before. It's definitely not being dramatic, it's deep and it's real.

Thank you so much Aliyah for blessing us with word. I totally relate to when you mentioned our appetite changing. Thinking back to when I was not rooted in Christ, I used to listen to kpop and watch kdrama’s a lot, but now I get uncomfortable by them and try my best to not consume any of it.

I used to love watching scary movies, mainly the one that involved spirits (paranormal activity, Amityville etc.) My paternal grandmother used to say “you’re letting those spirits in the house”. I used to laugh it off but now I get it. I avoid those movies at all cost. Even some music I stay away from because it makes me start thinking about things from my past and all the “fun” I used to have. I am definitely more mindful of what I watch and listen to now.

Hi Aliyah, I thank you for vlogging again! I enjoyed it! Thanks for the reminder that if we become shaky in our discipline to commune with God, we can always pick up from where we fell off. And that's ok 👍. I, too, enjoy watching LLTC's channel. Her testimony and life serving God has been inspirational and a joy to witness her growth! Her absence of current videos may be due in part because I think she stated in one of her videos that she had an opportunity to travel on the mission field to spread the Gospel. But like you, I pray she is safe and well and will eventually be back on KZbin producing content. God bless you Aliyah 😊. I'm so happy for you as you follow the ordered steps of the Lord for your life.

I really needed this, this is a sign that God want that I come back from him,The Father started talking to me when I had downloaded Titk Tok everything was fine until Tiktok became a big distraction and a wall between me and God, I realized I had to start posting there I started sharing the gospel with others and I was editing my video of the ten commandments explained and I realized that social media has become an idol and I noticed so many things that I first thought it was obvious

It's sometimes super hard to balance our social media usage as creators on social media! Definitely give yourself grace, maybe even ask God for wisdom on how you can schedule your day to make sure that you make Him the priority while also being consistent on social media, that is something that has helped me 😊
