Amen! He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. Titus 3:5 Paul reminds Titus of the shameful and wicked ways that he and they lived before coming to know Christ. But God's kindness and love in Christ have changed that, through His mercy, His cleansing and the work of His Holy Spirit in response to faith in Jesus Christ. Because of God's grace, which has justified repentant sinners, they should now maintain good works, and Titus must teach this because it is good and profitable for them all. Brother William
